This family is so special. I had the honor of photographing big sister when she was just a few weeks old, and now I got to spend the morning with her sweet baby brother. It was a cold, cold winter day, but we were snug and cozy inside for this newborn session. I love going to families’ houses to photograph newborns because it feels so natural, and it’s especially fun when older siblings get excited to show me all their fun things. It was such a joy to spend the morning with this wonderful family.
Fall Foliage {St. Paul Family Photographer}
We have been blessed with a beautiful fall so far. I met this family at a park in St. Paul, and the leaves, trees, and clouds were just gorgeous. Unfortunately many of the leaves had already fallen off the trees, but it still made for some beautiful fall foliage.
It was my first time meeting this wonderful family, and I had so much fun during our time together. It was so great to see their boys jump to different spots throughout our walk to the river and say, "Take a picture of me over here!" It showed me that they were excited about what we were doing, and I loved, loved, loved that. Their sweet little girl was a little tired during part of the session, but we still captured some adorable moments, and, wow, she is a cutie pie!
I caught myself smiling a lot while editing these photos. There is just lots of love and joy in their family, and it definitely shows. :)

My twinsies turned two a few weeks ago, so I just had to take photos to commemorate this special event...mostly the fact that I've survived two years as a mother of twins. These two have been an incredible blessing to my life. They've helped me get back into that delightful state of wonder and playfulness I would like to live in more often. They've helped me remember that watching a colony of ants on the sidewalk can be so fascinating. Or they've sat me in the grass to watch the rabbit (who I'm sure was plotting how to get to my garden) move about our yard.
I love these two to pieces. Happy two years of life, sweet peas.
